Craft Potters Association
The Craft Potters Association was formed in 1958 to promote the work of its members and to increase public awareness of contemporary studio pottery.〔(CERAMIC ART LONDON 2008 )〕 It has two wholly owned operating companies: Craftsmen Potters Trading Company Ltd and Ceramic Review Publishing Ltd.
There are three categories of membership of the Association; associate member, professional member and fellow.

Potter Michael Casson was a founder member and chair from 1963 to 1966.
The current chair is potter Richard Phethean, other notable chairs include David Leach in 1967, Jane Hamlyn and Phil Rogers from1994 to 1998.
